Welcome to the Revolution

  Minnesota author and former U.S. Marine, Justin Larson, takes on the derisive climate of American politics dividing the country in his debut short story series, Blood Bill. Using real events as inspiration to develop a false narrative around, the series pits fictional iconoclast, Senator William “Bill” Blood against a cadre of antagonists. Uniquely positioned as a patriot and a revolutionary, the skirmishes offer an avenue of retribution against the leadership Bill detests but also an opportunity to make peace in his soul for the blood on his hands.   

The stories unveil themselves in contrasting character vignettes meticulously weaving a gloriously spatial and picturesque American West with the rarified air of mainstream culture. The resulting fabric is a narrative that engenders a spirited revolt in both the characters and the reader himself, no matter which side of the political spectrum they may associate themselves with.
